About us
The Rehabilitation Foundation is an independent non-profit organisation that is an expert on developing rehabilitation services for the working age population. Offices are located in Malminkartano district in Western Helsinki.The Rehabilitation Foundation is a non-profit organisation and partially funded by Finland’s Slot Machine Association and its partners and customers comprise a large and diverse group of organisations. The Foundation employs approximately 60 people.
Our objectives are
- to develop new operating models for rehabilitation work to meet the needs of various population groups
- to study and assess the efficacy of current practices
- to study and assess the effectiveness of the rehabilitation system
- to provide current information on rehabilitation to both experts and the greater public
- to organise further training and education in the field of rehabilitation
- to improve the working and functional capacity of rehabilitation patients
effectiveness, responsibility, valuing the customer and renewal.
International connections
The Rehabilitation Foundation is a member of the Rehabilitation International Finnish Committee (RIFI), which links it to Rehabilitation International.The Foundation is also a member of the Finnish National Committee of the International Council on Social Welfare (ICSW) and actively involved in the international networks of several EU projects.
